Sommarpsalm {Summer Hymn] is a well-loved Swedish Hymn written in 1889. It has traditionally become one of Sweden's best loved hymns, sung throughout the country for ceremonies from weddings to national celebrations. In my adaptation and translation of the lyrics I was inspired to capture what for me is the essence and meaning of the interpretation of the beautiful original text. "On the earth, as all things change, where all things are in flux, where seasons come and go, we can be assured that the promise of God shall never change, shall be constant, shall be everlasting!" Available for a cappella voices in SSA or 3-part mixed/SAB.

Musicals for Spring

*NEW* Love and Kindness
Love and Kindness, is a one act musical play all about instilling kindness in relationships. Laced together by a group of rhyming rappers, each of the eight songs presents a positive message. The rock Tune, "New Kids in Town," and the tender ballad, "Nobody Plays with Johnny," address issues of acceptance. The rollicking 60's-style "Send a Card," teaches how to convey and show courtesy. The contemporary ballad "Feelings are Just Feelings," addresses self esteem. The rap "The Sometimes Letter," is all about caring for others, and the song "You're Beautiful", emphasizes that all of us radiate beauty! The musical was designed for a flexible cast size and each song is unison/optional 2 part.
